• To formulate, implement, monitor and review the respective policies pertaining to the training and continuing professional development of teachers and principals, including Certification for Principalship, Principals' CPD Framework, Teachers' CPD Framework, Teacher Competencies Framework and implementation of the Professional Ladder for Teachers in Hong Kong.
• To develop, launch, monitor and evaluate the leadership training programmes on the knowledge and skills required of principals, vice principals, middle leaders, and teachers who are assuming the leadership role.
• To provide professional and secretariat support to the Committee on Certification for Principalship to advise the Education Bureau on matters relating to CFP and to monitor the standard of CFP.
• To provide professional and secretariat support to the Committee on Professional Development of Teachers and Principals.
• To provide support for overseeing the housekeeping of the Education University of Hong Kong.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings: 

• To maintain Section's databases and develop in-house database applications, such as ancillary course admission application, KPI dashboard.
• To assist in developing/purchasing information systems/applications.
• To create web content and maintain the thematic websites.
• To provide support in media production.
• To coordinate data transformation with IT departments.
• To conduct different surveys and data analysis.
• To provide technical support to the Section.
• To perform duties as required by the seniors.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 1 year of experience in similar capacity.
• A bachelor's degree awarded by a post-secondary institution in Hong Kong, or a bachelor's degree awarded by an overseas university or a polytechnic in the UK, the USA, Canada, New Zealand or Australia OR technology from a Hong Kong or overseas tertiary education institute.
• An accredited associate degree or a higher diploma from a Hong Kong or overseas tertiary education institute in subjects other than information technology.
• At least four (4) years' relevant post-qualification experience in the computing field.
• Familiar programming skills in technologies, knowledge management, collaborative tools, using programming languages and various support/ development tools/environments such as JAVA, J2EE, WEBSPHERE, XML, C#, CRE,DAR, NATUR, SQL, VISUAL BASIC, ORACLE tools, WEB SERVICES, .NET or OSS, and operating systems/platforms such as WINDOWS, UNIX, LINUX, MVS, VMWARE or NETWARE etc.
• Familiar with department system (TCS, EdIS etc.) is preferred.
• Working at designated locations in Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Territories is required.
