Job Nature
- To formulate, implement, monitor and review the respective policies pertaining to the training and continuing professional development of teachers and principals, including Certification for Principalship, Principals' CPD Framework, Teachers' CPD Framework, Teacher Competencies Framework and implementation of the Professional Ladder for Teachers in Hong Kong.
- To develop, launch, monitor and evaluate the leadership training programmes on the knowledge and skills required of principals, vice principals, middle leaders, and teachers who are assuming the leadership role.
- To provide professional and secretariat support to the Committee on Certification for Principalship to advise the Education Bureau on matters relating to CFP and to monitor the standard of CFP.
- To provide professional and secretariat support to the Committee on Professional Development of Teachers and Principals.
- To provide support for overseeing the housekeeping of the Education University of Hong Kong.
