EDPS Systems Limited is a leading supplier of skilled IT personnel in Hong Kong, providing innovative solutions to a wide range of clients. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our growing team.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software components for a data analytics and predictive system focused on AI applications. You will work closely with data scientists and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions that enhance machine learning models.

• Design, develop, and test software components for data ingestion, processing, and storage tailored for AI-driven projects, including distributed data processing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop) and real-time data streaming platforms (Kafka, Flink).
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, adhering to software engineering best practices (e.g., SOLID principles, design patterns).
• Build and maintain APIs for accessing data and machine learning models, using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Develop user interfaces for visualizing data and interacting with the AI-powered system, using modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and UI/UX design principles.
• Collaborate with data scientists and other stakeholders to deploy machine learning models into production, using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Ensure the quality, performance, and security of the system, implementing automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end), security audits, and monitoring tools.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices in software development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development using languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including serverless computing (Lambda, Cloud Functions) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, ArgoCD).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit or pytest).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Minimum 2-year experience in software development.
• Preferred: Experience with Al frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch) and familiarity with machine learning algorithms.
