• The project enhances the security of a digital identity system (the System) by migrating its hosting platform from existing hybrid cloud to another new hybrid cloud environment that fulfils national security standards; 
• The main duty involves setting up system and network infrastructures in the new hybrid cloud for the System migration, including but not limited to setup of related cloud services such as dedicated Hardware Security Modules (DHSM), DevOps, load balancers, proxy, databases, bastion host, backup, message queues, routers, firewalls, VPN, etc. that meet national security standards; and
• The candidate is also required to perform diagnosis and resolving any problems encountered in order to ensure 7x24 uninterrupted public services of the System running on the existing hybrid cloud.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Provide technical and integration support on system and network infrastructures of the System for migrating the hosting platform to the new hybrid cloud environment;
• Perform issue/incident handling and troubleshooting for the System on existing hybrid cloud platform;
• Provide technical and operational support for the maintenance and enhancements of the System which is providing 7x24 public services;
• Assist supervisor to prepare technical specifications for equipment and services procurement; and
• Any other duties (including publicity) assigned by the supervisors.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity;
• Solid experience on implementation and maintenance of systems running on hybrid cloud platform, Tencent and Huawei cloud administration, private cloud, deploying metro-Ethernet networks, and configuring switches, routers, firewalls and VPN solutions;
• Strong knowledge and working experience in implementing or maintaining systems with load balancers, internet gateways, internet mail servers, application proxy servers, domain name services, docker / container technologies, public key infrastructure and digital certificate related technologies;
• Experience in supporting digital identity system / IT application development involving mobile app is an advantage; and
• Good coordination and communication skills.
