 To oversee, manage and monitor IT related projects in the Dental Services.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Supervise project team(s) to design, develop and manage all IT related projects in the Dental Services;
• Lead the application development team to study on existing systems;
• Consolidate requirements from both internal and external users;
• Work in many different business areas of Dental Services in collaboration with users coming from clinical and public health services;
• Identify optimum technical solution;
• To ensure compliance of the system design and architectural solutions with the relevant frameworks, standards, policies and guidelines as set out for the SPRINT-1 dental projects;
• Prepare tender specifications and/or work assignment briefs;
• To follow up the procurement of hardware and software for the SPRINT-1 dental projects based on the requirements and standards approved and ensure the hardware and software are conformed to the installation standards and acceptance criteria; and
• Conduct project management, supervise and monitor the progress and performance of subordinates, contractors and subcontractors.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 15 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 5 years of experience in similar capacity;
• At least 10 years experience in managing projects using PRINCE, SSADM or RAD methodologies of which at least 8 year experience in leading the development of clinical information system;
• At least 10 years experience in design, development and management of enterprise scale systems built on J2EE and/or .NET platform;
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) holder is preferred;
• Strong team player and capable to work under pressure independently and proactively; and
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
