Central Database Administration Support.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Provide database administration support including:
  - Database installation and configuration.
  - Database software patching and version upgrade.
  - Database backup and recovery.
  - Database performance monitoring and tuning.
  - Database disaster recovery.
  - Database standard and compliance review.
  - Database capacity planning.
• Coordinate with relevant parties concerned, including other data administrators, infrastructure support teams, application teams and vendors for database software patching, version upgrade, account review or other support activities.
• Prepare and participant IT audit.
• Perform other administrative and support activities as when required.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity
• Solid experience in Oracle database administration.
• Experienced in Oracle Real Application Clusters.
• Experienced in Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Experienced in Exadata support.
• Experienced in Oracle Active Data Guard.
• Experienced in VMware is preferred.
• Experienced in liaison and coordination with different parties.
• Experienced in managing and supporting databases.
