Responsible for promoting the wider adoption of digital accessibility design by both public and private sectors; improving the accessibility of websites and mobile apps and providing advice about the latest development and implementation of digital accessibility standards.
 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To plan and implement programmes to improve the accessibility of B/Ds websites and mobile apps, including the provision of digital accessibility training and assessment service to B/Ds;
• To provide technical advice on Elderly-friendly design on websites and mobile apps;
• To monitor the progress of the website and mobile app accessibility compliance audit project according to the planned schedule;
• To carry out quality control and quality assurance of the deliverables of the compliance audit project;
• To lead project team in conducting accessibility assessment on websites and mobile apps;
• To lead the research on the latest development of digital accessibility international standards;
• To evaluate the essential requirements on digital accessibility with persons with disabilities groups, and review relevant documents/guidelines; and
• To deliver presentations at technical workshops and seminars about digital accessibility.
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity;
• Must have experiences in web hosting, design and/or maintenance projects;
• Must have experience in IT planning;
• Must have experience in conducting IT training/briefing;
• Must have experience in wireless and mobile technology;
• Must have experience in managing digital accessibility related projects that comply to international standards on web accessibility, such as version 2.2 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) promulgated by the World Wide Web Consortium;
• Must have experience in IT outsourcing management; and
• Preferably to have intensive exposure in written English, and experiences in preparing technical requirement specifications and assessment reports.
