The project is for the implementation and maintenance of a digital identity system (the System) which consists of cloud-based back end systems running container-based applications and mobile apps. The System provides Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for access by other systems to perform authentication, form filling, digital signing and other functions with the consent of the mobile app users. The project team will be responsible for the platform operations, maintenance and development work as well as to provide necessary technical support to Bureaux/ Departments (B/Ds) for integrating their online services with the System.
 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Assist supervisor to manage the system operation and coordinate with related government contractors on the operations and maintenance work for the System;
• Assist supervisor to oversee outsourcing teams to provide technical support on the day-to-day operation of the System;
• Assist supervisors to oversee application development lifecycle and conduct the system support for the container-based applications and backend systems with the maintenance contractors; and
• Any other duties (including publicity) assigned by the supervisors during office/non-office hours.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 1 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Good knowledge and experience in supporting and maintaining systems running on cloud platform and as container-based application services;
• Understanding of load balancers, internet gateways, proxy services, domain name services, Linux platform, docker / container technologies and virtualisation technologies;
• Experience in supporting / IT application involving mobile app is advantage;
• Good command of English and writing skills;
• Good coordination and communication skills;
• Good coordination and liaison skills; and
• Communicate using Putonghua would be required.
