System implementation, production support and quality assurance for the Information Technology (IT) System for 2026 Population Census (26C), and relevant data collection and data dissemination systems.
 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To assist Project Manager in coordinating and monitoring project activities;
• To carry out quality control, quality assurance and project management duties;
• To coordinate with various independent parties, including those appointed by department and other bureaux and departments, in conducting independent third party review and testing on system functionalities, system security and system loading;
• To collect and analyse user requirements, in liaison with outsourced contractors, users and internal IT Teams where appropriate;
• To review project deliverables including system documentations produced by Service Contractor and other vendors; 
• To provide ad-hoc production support during the census operation; 
• To report progress regularly on tasks assigned; and
• To perform other duties as required by department.
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Solid working experience in SA&D and system testing in the following areas:
  • HTML, Internet/Intranet, XML, JSON;
  • Microsoft Active Server Page Scripting;
  • Microsoft SQL Server database;
  • Visual Studio .NET programming;
  • Web Services such as RESTful API;
  • Linux / Open Source development;
  • Web application development;
• Solid working experience in functional test, integration test, load test and stress testing;
• Preferable to have working experience in the following areas:
  • Design and development of public-facing IT system(s);
  • Integration with virtual waiting room solution and Government IT services/facilities such as iAM Smart;
  • Configuring and performance tuning in Microsoft SQL Database (version 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2022);
  • JMeter; and
  • Web accessibility test.
