• Implementation of various systems, enhancements and initiatives under the Hong Kong Public Libraries.
• Provision of ongoing support for digital library systems and network provision services under the Hong Kong Public Libraries.
   

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Coordinating with internal users, contractors and external organization for projects;
• Monitoring the project progress and providing regular update to management;
• Managing the performance and deliverables of outsourcing contractors;
• Conducting feasibility studies on new IT initiatives;
• Defining user requirements, conducting system analysis and design, data conversion, acceptance tests and production release for application systems;
• Arranging project related services / equipment acquisition;
• Providing technical advice to user sections and management; and
• Carrying out other duties assigned by senior officers.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese;
• Sound knowledge on project management with a minimum of 2 years working experience in coordinating/managing projects with multiple user parties;
• A minimum of 3 years working experience in system development with the exposure of full system development life cycle (SDLC); 
• Solid experience with a minimum of 2 years in contract and vendor management;
• Solid experience in web-based application development and data conversion;
• Knowledge / experience in the following is a plus.
  • content management system;
  • library IT systems;
  • digitization of multimedia content;
  • multimedia content delivery;
  • site preparation;
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
