Provide on-going support for End User Query (EUQ), Strategic Planning Support System (SPSS) and the Statistical Analysis System (SAS) upgrade project.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To collect user requirements and conduct system analysis and design for SAS related systems;
• To lead subordinates to provide on-going support services for the enhancement requests from users;
• To coordinate with various parties in conducting system tests, load tests, resilience tests, backup and  recovery tests for the SAS upgrade projects;
• To support the disaster recovery drill for SAS related systems of the department;
• To prepare system documentation, such as program specifications and other documents, for the on-going maintenance of the SAS related systems in department; and
• To perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
  
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 10 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Should have solid experience in
  • SAS;
  • DB2;
  • SQL programming;
  • data modelling;
  • data management; and
  • system implementation and maintenance/support.
• The candidate is required to
  • provide on-call support services;
  • occasionally work in non-office hours including Saturday, Sunday and public holidays;
  • work independently; and
  • carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
