This is a CPM position responsible for managing and leading a team to provide technical advice and IT management service to B/Ds supported by Communal ITMU.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Manage all aspects of IT project activities including project planning, design and implementation;
• Monitor & control on various activities at ITMUs, including user & vendor management, quality control, risk management and management reporting;
• Plan, direct, monitor and coordinate project activities to ensure project objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budgets;
• Report progress, follow up outstanding issues, suggest solutions and resolve conflicts and crisis for IT projects;
• Ensure project deliverable are delivered on time with good quality and seek endorsement from Project Steering Committee;
• Liaise with vendors on various IT project stages including system analysis & design, testing and system implementation, etc.;
• Plan, manage and monitor email services implementation & migration;
• Conduct technical studies on various IT initiatives where necessary.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 8 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Solid experience in implementation and maintenance of large scale IT application and system projects;
• At least eight years' post-qualification information technology experience of which two years must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity;
• Solid experience in IT project management;
• Solid experience in security risk assessment and audit exercise;
• Experience in building enterprise web applications, performance testing and trouble shooting;
• Experience in vendor management
• The following are preferable:
  • Solid experience in Java/J2EE system development and integration of complex solutions using Java/J2EE;
  • Solid experience in project management methodologies, e.g. SSADM, Prince and PMP Details;
  • Solid experience in managing and monitoring outsourced projects.
