1. To deploy F5 web application firewall to strength the IT security control on departmental network. 
2. To deploy the Forti Proxy solution to centralize the Internet traffic of departmental network. 
3. To assist in working on the virtual network segmentation project (VMware NSX).
    

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To manage and implement network projects;
• To diagnose, analyze, and resolve network problems and security vulnerabilities encountered during/after network implementation tasks;
• To research and evaluate the latest products, tools, and practices to recommend cost-effective solutions;
• To perform quality control and assurance in network implementations;
• To analyze and follow the related IT regulations, policies, and guidelines of HKSARG;
• To prepare guidelines and procedures for the operation and maintenance tasks;
• To provide technical consultation services;
• To develop network-related programs to streamline the operation and maintenance process;
• To manage the Contractors and liaise with different parties to achieve the goals of network projects through efficient project management skills.
• To support, operate and maintain the network infrastructure/system of department including but not limited to:
  • Trust Zone Firewall System;
  • Web Proxy System;
• To assist in the procurement processes of IT products and services; and
• To undertake any other duties as required by supervisors.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 1 years of experience in similar capacity.
• At least four (4) years post-qualification information technology experience of which one (1) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity;
• At least two (2) years in network infrastructure/system support, operate and maintain, preferably with solid experience in enterprise network project design, implementation and manage, also the management of Contractor/Vendor;
• Having procurement experience is more preferable;
• Strong commitment to project deadline and deliver high quality of work;
• Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsive and well-organized;
• Possession of certifications of CCNP / CISSP / ITIL is preferable; 
• Good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills; and
• Knowledge and solid experience in managing tendering process would be a plus.
