To assist managing the development of Building Information Management (BIM) application and engineering IT projects for the BIM Support Team (BST).
 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To manage and administer the IT projects assigned;
• To collect and analyse user requirements, draft functional specifications, conduct market research and request for proof-of-concepts as appropriate for BIM applications and engineering IT systems / services;
• To evaluate contractors performance in delivering BIM applications, engineering IT systems / services;
• To prepare / review funding application, prepare tender documents, supervise tender evaluations for BIM applications and engineering IT systems / services;
• To support the implementation of the departmental Common Data Collaboration platform (CDCP) and check and upkeep of design / as-built BIM models;
• To liaise and work with business users, IT teams, contractors and stakeholders, including other bureaux / departments for completing duties effectively;
• To coach and supervise IT Assistants in BST to ensure the completion of duties and the quality of their deliverables and outcome; and
• To perform any other duties assigned by senior officers.
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 7 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 5 years of experience in similar capacity.
• At least five years experience on IT service procurement, contract monitoring, user management, quality assurance and IT security audit, and management of multiple IT projects;
• Proficient in managing IT development projects and managing / overseeing day-to-day operations of web-based systems;
• Proficient in documenting user and functional requirements in English;
• Experiences on Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are essential.
