Development, Maintenance and Production Support of IT Systems.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To plan, coordinate and participate in the development and maintenance of IT systems to support the business and operation;
• To plan, coordinate and participate in the system tests, user acceptance tests, user training, documentation, system deployment and rollout of IT systems;
• To liaise with end users and perform impact analysis for the system enhancements / changes;
• To coordinate and handle system incidents, resolve technical problems/issues and assist in online service resumption;
• To coordinate and manage vendors to deliver IT services;
• To coordinate and participate in IT procurement according to the standards, regulations and guidelines;
• To plan and conduct quality review (or system tests) on the technical products; and
• To carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 8 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity;
• Excellence in verbal and written communication in both English and Chinese;
• Solid hands-on experience in developing large-scale bilingual application systems, including client-server and web applications, under UNIX/Oracle/Visual Basic/J2EE environment;
• Solid hands-on systems analysis and design skills, and  programming skills on Java applications;
• Knowledge and experience in RAD or OO Analysis and Design;
• Good analytical skills and be able to work independently;
• Provide 24x7 on-call production system support.
