System development, maintenance and enhancement of the one-stop portal platform for the three online assessment and resource banks (STAR, WLTS and GoAdaptive), and provide IT support for the A&HKEAA section.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To provide technical advice on the further development of the one-stop portal platform of Student Assessment Repository (STAR), Web-based Learning and Teching Support (WLTS) and GoAdaptive, with the particular focus on the incorporation of appropriate Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. (e.g. for marking open-ended assessment tasks/ items and user interaction with chatbot) into the platform, as well as IT solutions to the problems identified on the platform; (35%)
• To Assist the subject teams in monitoring and managing the use of the AI tools on the STAR platform by working collaboratively with the Hong Kong Education City; (20%)
• To convert the pen-and-paper version of the STAR assessment items / tasks prepared by the subject teams and upload the corresponding e-version of the assessment items / tasks to the STAR platform, as well as fixing all the bugs and problems identified; (20%)
• To assist the subject teams in modifyig the learning and teaching resources of the WLTS and GoAdaptive by providing technical support, as well as uploading the resources, including the interactive games / activities prepared to the STAR  platform and fix the bugs and problems identified;(15%)
• To provide technical support in the initiatives in the promotion of assessment literacy among different stakeholders, including PDPs, seminars, talks and workshps and other related publicity acivities; and (5%)
• To perform any other duties as assifned. (5%)

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 1 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Proficient in mobile/ wireless technologies, knowledge management, collaborative tools, application development, implementation or maintenance using programming languages and various support/ development tools/ environments such as JAVA, J2EE, WEBSPHERE, XML, C++, C#, COBOL, NAURAL, SQL, VISUAL BASIC, ORACLE tools, WEB SERVICES, .NET or OSS, and operating systems/ platforms such as WINDOWS, UNIX, LINUX, MVS, VMWARE or NETWARE;
• Proficient in systems programming or technical support of systems software.
