To provide implementation support services for the upgrade of Departmental Portal.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Monitor the performance and review the deliverables of the consultants and contractors for the new Open Source Departmental Portal (OSDP);
• Integrate new and existing web applications into new OSDP including implementation of authentication features;
• Implement authentication and access control measures in accordance with the new OSDP design and departmental IT policies;
• Assist in security risk assessment and audit (SRAA);
• Support on nursing and performance tuning of the system; and
• Prepare documentation and handover operations to department permanent staff.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Hands-on experience in web application development using container technology, e.g. Docker.
• Proficient in Java/Python, PHP and databases.
• Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience in web development using HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
• Experience in version control for managing and sharing team projects.
• Knowledge and experience in Container Orchestration Platform setup is a plus.
• Hands-on experience implementing Single sign-on (SSO) authentication for web applications is a plus.
• Interest in weather forecasting is a plus.
