To provide support for enhancements and ongoing maintenance to the department system including system administration, system analysis and design, programming, user operations, testing, user training, capacity planning, performance monitoring, etc.
 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To maintain daily administration tasks and update the LIFIPS user profiles, e.g. Acting Up, Doubling Up or Transfer;
• To provide technical and operational supports to LIFIPS users;
• To prepare/update operation/system manuals, and conduct training to LIFIPS users;
• To write SQL scripts to support ad hoc report/data generation;
• To assist in the system maintenance, performance monitoring and fine tuning of the system;
• To work with ITMU, contractors and users for the "Development of Building Fire Safety Database and File Management System" project; to assist in system design, testing and perform user acceptance test when necessary, and to prepare related technical specification and tender documents; and
• To be able to work under pressure, willing to work overtime if required; To work on other ITMU related duties as required.
• The Relevant Employee shall provide on-call technical support duties and perform overtime work, including work outside of normal office hours, on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, as and when necessary and upon the request.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in similar capacity.
• At least 2 years working experience in SQL database and SQL script development;
• Working experience in using Oracle database and the SQL developer tools are preferable; and
• Working experience in Microsoft Windows Server administration and networking support are preferable.
