Job Nature

General IT support to department User and IT Management Unit (ITMU) desktop system.


Job Description

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

  • To perform IT helpdesk front line support;
  • To provide on-going system/ network maintenance support and system administration tasks in the in-house Helpdesk support team;
  • To support end user for their PC and mobile device (notebook, mobile phone and etc.) operation: systems, hardware, applications. Email, video conferencing and other peripherals issues;
  • To assist or train end users on how to operate PCs, including OS and other common desktop applications;
  • To support maintenance of desktop PCs, patches, updates, etc;
  • To prepare clone image for desktop PCs and set up new PC using clone image;
  • To work with internal and external IT system owners to solve technical issues;
  • To operate and support Symantec Management Platform (formerly known as Symantec Altiris), Document Management Platform (formerly known as FileCloud) and helpdesk support system (ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus);
  • To coordinate and manage the progress of various tasks with other Helpdesk staff;
  • To provide support in-house assets management system.
     

 

 


Job Requirement

  • Diploma or Degree Holder in Computer Science, or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 5 years of experience in similar capacity;
  • 5 years' or above helpdesk support experience in sizeable company.
  • Solid trouble-shooting skills for both software and hardware.
  • Good knowledge of Software (iOS, Windows 10, Offices 2016, ManageEngine ServiceDesk, FileCloud, Symantec Altiris), PC desktop/notebook/iOS mobile device, and peripheral such as printer, scanner.
  • Good knowledge of PC setup and image cloning.
  • Good Knowledge of PC email software (Lotus Notes, CMSG), mobile email (including MCMS).
  • Good communication skill and telephone manner.
