IT system development, revamp and enhancement.
 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• In-house and outsourced system development, revamp and enhancement projects;
• Responsible for project management, IT procurement, contractor management, system design, implementation and nursing;
• Take a leading role in coordinating and monitoring assigned projects, work actively with end-users, contractors, team members and other B/D users to facilitate timely and quality completion of projects;
• Elicit user requirements, assist in tender preparation and evaluation, participate in business process re-engineering and feasibility study;
• Participate in system analysis and design, provide technical advices, comment on contractors deliverables, review network and system configuration, coordinate user acceptance tests, prepare system documentation and facilitate production rollout;
• Participate in IT security risk assessment & audit;
• Monitor contractor progress and work quality, follow up project issues and resolve possible conflicts; and
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 10 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 8 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Hands-on experience in project management using PMP, SSADM and PRINCE, coordination of resources and schedule, collection of user requirements, system analysis and design, application testing and production rollout of large-scale application systems;
• Experience in contractor management and management of outsourced project;
• Experience in Windows Server, Java application server, RDBMS and web programming;
• Hands-on experience in managing in-house and outsourced IT projects under IT standards and guidelines;
• Hands-on experience in IT security risk assessment & audit of IT systems;
• Independent, self-motivated, good sense of responsibility and team work;
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English; and
• Good communication skills and customer service skills.
