Job Nature

  • To manage the setup of IT facilities for department;
  • To manage the system helpdesk and support services for users, maintain daily IT operations and perform system program changes;
  • To manage the relocation projects for existing remote offices; and
  • To replace the obsoleted network equipment and firewall.

Job Description

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

  • To manage the IT support service in department, which includes first-line IT help desk, remedial and miscellaneous IT support services (including but not limited to Departmental Portal, e-Leave, VPN, Wi-Fi service), central network monitoring, trouble shooting, etc. so that all computer users in department could carry out their duties smoothly by using the computer systems;
  • To manage the relocation projects for existing remote offices;
  • To assist in preparing the work assignment briefs;
  • To review and assist in the quality assurance of project deliverables; and
  • To assist in monitoring the project progress and performance of contractors.

 


Job Requirement

  • Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
  • Minimum 4 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 1 years of experience in similar capacity;
  • Strong knowledge in Office Automation, including Windows servers, Outlook Mail System and wireless and mobile services;
  • Solid experience in providing IT advice, help desk and support services that cover systems and services including hardware, software, applications, packages, networks, servers, special devices, system documentation, communication lines and equipment;
  • Solid experience in IT procurement exercises;
  • Experience in providing LAN administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, support services and ad-hoc services to users to ensure network services and IT systems are reliable and in satisfactory operations to meet service level requirements; and
  • Communication skills in dealing with vendors and users.
