Project management for revamp, enhancement and maintenance of departmental website and data dissemination IT systems for department.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To manage and oversee the computer project of developing a new common interactive data dissemination system (IDDS) for social and economic statistics;
• To manage the maintenance and enhancement of the existing department Website and data dissemination IT systems; 
• To take the lead in coordinating and liaising with various parties within and outside the department for the development, revamp, enhancement and maintenance of data dissemination IT systems, including the project contractors, the users in the department, and external vendors, etc.;
• To provide specialist advice on the integration of the new and enhanced systems, as well as their integration with existing statistical systems in the department;
• To manage resources allocation in the design, implementation, enhancement and maintenance of computer systems and ensure user requirements are met and services are performed in compliance with international quality standards;
• To lead a project team in the design, implementation, enhancement and maintenance of computer systems and monitor the performance of his / her subordinates;
• To perform any other duties which are necessary for the satisfactory completion of the system design and analysis, implementation, enhancement and maintenance activities.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 8 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 4 years of experience in similar capacity;
• Project management experience for the implementation of statistical output generation system or data dissemination system;
• Supervising and managing IT application development and enhancement, including Internet-facing web application and Departmental Website.
• Vendor management and outsourcing contractor management.
• Leading a project team of 3 members or more.
