To provide implementation support services for the upgrade of Departmental Portal.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Monitor the performance and review the deliverables of the consultants and contractors for the new Open Source Departmental Portal (OSDP);
• Integrate new and existing web applications, e.g., Forecast Verification System, into new OSDP including implementation of authentication features;
• Implement authentication and access control measures in accordance with the new OSDP design and departmental IT policies; and
• Report to the project manager of the project.
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 1 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Experience in Unix/Linux shell scripts;
• Experience in Java/Python;
• Experience in version control for managing and sharing team project;
• Experience in web development using HTML, JavaScript and CSS;
• Experience in database system is a plus;
• Experience in PHP scripts is a plus;
• Interest in weather forecasting is a plus.
