Project initiation and implementation, application development, on-going enhancement, maintenance and production support of internal I.T. projects.  Mainly on web-based and/or client/server platforms.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Implement the modifications of various systems (including media asset management system, procurement system, inventory system, overtime management system and budget costing and control system) due to Change Requests and Problem Fixes, and implement new or enhanced systems in department to cope with new user requirements;
• Assist System Analysts in user requirements collection, system analysis and design, and programming; 
• Assist supervisors in reviewing the technical architecture and conducting technical study on new technologies;
• Provide delivery work including design, application and/or system programming, data conversion, capacity planning, technical support;
• Perform various testing such as unit test, system test, integration test;
• Compile user acceptance test plan and test cases;
• Assist and support users in user acceptance tests;
• Provide system maintenance and production support;
• Prepare system documentation;
• Support all phases of the system development life-cycle (including user requirements specification, system analysis & design, programming, testing, training, documentation, implementation and maintenance) on various computer platforms; and
• Check and assure the quality of deliverables.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 1 years of experience in similar capacity.
• At least 2 years' solid hands-on Java application development experience with various development tools and frameworks (such as Apache Struts, Spring and Hibernate)
• Proficient in SQL, stored procedure, XML, JavaScript, JSP and other scripting languages;
• Previous experience in one or more of the following areas is an added advantage:  
  • Workflow system,
  • Struts and SOA architecture,
  • Oracle RDBMS,
  • Outsourced I.T. projects; 
• Previous experience in project management is an added advantage; and
• Good communication skills, independent and capable to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
