Providing system and operation support to department broadcast network and computer-based media production system, and helpdesk support to department frontline production staff. 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Responsible for the helpdesk support via telephone, email and desktop support;
• Solving IT problems for department users or escalate problem to appropriate level support parties; 
• Maintaining backup log, systems check log, inventory and maintenance records of network equipment and filing of documents;
• Performing broadcast network configuration, physical network cable patching and maintain cable records;
• Maintaining virtualization platform, storage systems, SQL database, streaming encoders and decoders, live video links, cloud service equipment, video/audio system, post-production workstations, recording/ingestion servers, IP-based intercom system, KVM and clock system, multi-view system and media file transcoders;
• Assisting installation, configuration, testing, market research, system planning and update of system documentation; 
• Check and assure the quality of deliverables.
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity.
• At least 4 years' experience in supporting enterprise network environment including multi-media production, Microsoft Windows and Apple MAC OSX client desktop and notebook, PC LAN and helpdesk;
• At least 2 years' experience in supporting:
  • Broadcast and production network with low latency and high bandwidth of 40/100GbE;
  • Precision Time Protocol (PTP) system;
  • SAN, NAS storage system;
  • Microsoft Active Directory;
  • SQL database;
  • VMware VSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualization platforms;
  • Apple Mac OSX, Microsoft Windows;
• Previous experience in one or more of the following areas is an added advantage:
  • Prompting generative AI systems for graphic / sound generation (excluding text generation);
  • Building embedded database;
  • Live streaming encoders;
  • Network-based video link;
  • SMPTE-2110 / NDI video over IP, AES-67 / DANTE audio over IP network;
  • Multi-media library system;
  • Video and audio playout system;
  • Baseband video infrastructure;
  • Media file transcoder;
  • Cloud solutions such as AliCloud / AWS / Azure / Google Cloud, etc.;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, independent and capable to work under pressure.
