Vendor management, system migration and on-going support.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Act as deputy to Contract Project Manager for the on-going support and maintenance of the application systems.
• To monitor the progress of application implementation and prepare the system rollout.
• To perform vendor performance management and coordinate with end-users and vendor for better delivery of services.
• To provide application support and liaise with the staff in other B/Ds and external contractors.
• To lead a team of Contract Systems Analyst, Contract Analyst Programmer, Contract Programmer and Contract Junior Programmer and provide supervision.
• To assist management in preparing funding papers for future projects, such as ballpark estimation and system design.
• To perform network design and administration of the hosting environment.
• To carry out all kinds of procurement exercise, such as GITP, SOA-QPS etc.
• To provide advisory for the integration with other department services.
• To arrange all kinds of system testing, such as DR drill, Resilient drill, Backup and Recovery, Load test and Stress test etc.
• Update system documentation.
• To carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  
  
  
  
  
   

• Higher Diploma or Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity;
• Must have solid experience in Data Administration.
• Must have solid experience in Infrastructure.
• Must have solid experience in JAVA Programming.
• Must have solid experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit.
• Must have solid experience in SSADM.
• Must have solid experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance.
• Must have solid experience in Management and Support of Systems & Services.
• Must have solid experience in IT Procurement.
• Must have solid experience in Vendor Management.
