• DB2 Administration.
• IBM AIX Unix.
• Structured Query Language.
• Unix / Linux Shell Scripting.

Provide on-going Support of the System.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To monitor the performance of the database servers and system environments;
• To provide database administration and support including database design, sizing, configuration, security control, performance tuning and backup/recovery;
• To coordinate with application teams on the on-going support and testing of the system;
• To coordinate with different parties to provide system integration with external systems;
• To prepare administration and operation procedures;
• To supervise Analyst Programmers to carry out their duties; and

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity;
• Well proven experience in database sizing, design, installation and configuration;
• Experience in administration and support of DB2 database system;
• Experience in database performance tuning; and
• Experience in high availability system configuration.
• Experience in support of mission critical system environment is required.
