Development and implementation of enhanced software modules of departmental systems on a set of newly procured computing facilities to replace the existing operational computing platform.

 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Leading and coordinating analyst programmer in the Project team to implement, optimize and fine-tune the data processing workflow and monitoring engine to the new operational platform;
• Implementing the enhanced software modules, as well as integration and conducting validation of performance with other nowcast applications on the System including AI/ML nowcast models to generate the new / enhanced nowcast products for dissemination to public, users in B/Ds and public utilities;
• Assisting procurement and implementation of computing and storage facilities including on-premises hardware and cloud servers;
• Arranging integration tests, real-time trial, evaluation of product availability and verification of performance for the nowcast products; and
• Providing nursing service, project reports, code-version controlled software management system, documentations and conducting handover with training to staff.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 1 years of experience in similar capacity;
• Proficient in application development using Python on Linux.
• Knowledge and experience in development of machine learning or artificial intelligence applications using Python are preferable.
• Experience in Git and GitLab for software development and version control would be an advantage.
