Lead a team to maintain, support and enhance the cloud platform and Shared Services, provide client support to teams as well as the cloud platform and Shared Services tenants and perform study on cloud native technology and products.
 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Supervise a team to maintain, support and enhance the cloud platform and Shared Services for delivering applications and ensure high availability and stability of cloud platform and Shared Services.
• Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the working prototypes based on the microservices architecture by applying contemporary cloud technologies including container hosting and orchestration, Service Mesh, API management, DevOps, DevSecOps, etc.
• Provide technical consultancy on the technical design and implementation of enhancement of the cloud Platform and Shared Services.
• Manage the team to support departments to use the cloud Platform and Shared Services for developing the digital services.
• Manage and monitor the contractor's performance to ensure the deliverables completed on schedule and meeting the requirements in the contract.
• Supervise the team to provide client support to applications hosting on the cloud Platform and using Shared Services.
• Supervise technical study and test on cloud native technology and products.
  
  
  
  
  
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 8 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity;
• Solid experience in managing an IT team to adopt advanced technologies and in collaboration with various other parties including contractors, vendors, users of different backgrounds, etc.
• Extensive experience in container technology and container hosting and orchestration platform including Docker and/or Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) or its community version (OKD)
• Extensive experiences and skills in large-scale enterprise application development projects using Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE), RESTful API, JSON, etc.
• Extensive experience in IT Application Development and Management.
• Extensive experience in virtualisation technology including compute, storage and network.
• Extensive experience in web application development.
• Extensive experience in infrastructure administration and monitoring for container hosting and management platform.
• Extensive experience in J2EE development.
• Experience in application and API development adopting microservices architecture.
• Experience in conducting quality assurance on project deliverables from outsourced contractors.
• Experience in client advisory to enable and support the users in adopting new technologies/centralised/hosting services.
• Experience in service mesh software such as OpenShift Service Mesh or Istio.
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline software such as Jenkins.
• Experience in container security software such as Prisma Cloud Compute Edition (previously TwistLock).
• Knowledge in serverless technologies, such as Knative.
• Strong analytic mind and problem solving techniques.
• A good team-leader and team-player with competent communication and interpersonal skills.
