System implementation and on-going support.
 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To perform on-going maintenance and application support for multi-tier web-based systems as well as liaison with staff in other B/Ds.
• To perform application enhancements, including but not limited to ensuring Internet-facing systems comply with WCAG, adopting responsible design principles.
• To assist with server migration from on-premise to GCIS IaaS.
• To assist with database migration from Oracle Database to GCIS DbaaS.
• To assist with security updates to programming code and application components, ensuring the system compliance with latest security standards.
• To perform regular health checks for the system, optimizing performance and identifying areas for improvement.

• Degree holder in Computer Science, or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 1 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Must have solid experience in Apache Web Server.
• Must have solid experience in J2EE Development.
• Must have solid experience in Office Automation.
• Must have solid experience in Oracle RDBMS.
• Must have solid experience in the System Implementation and Maintenance/Support.
• Must have solid experience in Client Service.
• Must have solid experience in Helpdesk Call Handling Technique.
• Must have solid experience in Management and Support of Systems & Services.
• Experience in MySQL/MariaDB is highly desirable.
• Experience in Web Services is highly desirable.
• Experience in WCH and GCIS such as IaaS, DBaaS is highly desirable.
