Mobile Mapping System Data Open-up.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To design, develop, deploy, implement and maintain intranet/internet web sites, services and applications, GIS, geospatial database applications, container-based development and microservices development;
• To monitor all phases of IT/GIS projects including feasibility study, system analysis and design, procurement and installation of IT systems / GIS applications, programming, implementation, system nursing and maintenance; 
• To process, analyst, spatial-index and visualize the data acquire from Mobile Mapping System, including LIDAR data,  panoramic imagery, oriented imagery and its external orientation and internal orientation;
• To develop tools to visualize and analyze the data obtained from the Mobile Mapping System in conjunction with 3D data, including 3D models, 3D tiles, BIM, and indoor maps; 
• To assist in the R&D of new technologies related to Mobile Mapping System, including data science and AI implementation;
• To assist in install and configure large scale storage system.
• To assist in the project management; to carry out GIS business analysis and to propose business solutions;
• To provide support to peers on application development and advocate best practice in system architecture, configuration management, application design, geospatial database design and to participate in code reviews;
• To coordinate the procurement for acquisition, installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software;
• To prepare requirement specifications, system design documents, test plans and interface design documents;
• To perform any other GIS or IT-related duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 10 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 8 years of experience in similar capacity;
• Relevant experience in IT, GIS applications development, or mobile map application development with direct focus on developing and implementing Internet solutions, web applications, GIS or geospatial database, including at least 2 year project management.
• Have at least 8 years hands-on programming experience in the following areas: NodeJS, python, SQL & NoSQL database programming, container-based development, point cloud programming, GIS Programming, web services protocols/interfaces (e.g. SOAP, REST, WMS, WFS), HTML5;
• Knowledge on GIS techniques, such as map projections, coordinate systems, OGC standards, point cloud data processing is required; 
• Experience in using Leaflet, three,js, cesium, MapStore, GeoServer, Potree is required.
• Experience in using GDAL, PDAL, LASTools, JAVA programming, Docker appliances, Git, GeoTwin and operation of iTwin Capture Manage & Extract and Orbit 3DM Publisher is preferred;
• Possess analytical sense, problem solving skills and a good team player;
• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English.
