System on-going support.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Underpinning the system on-going support activities.
• To assist management in preparing funding papers for future projects.
• To perform System Analysis and Design (SA&D) to ensure that proposed systems meet divisional needs, and oversee the implementation phase.
• To perform site preparation for IT-related items, including working with the network team for setting up network infrastructure and communicate for the site arrangement.
• To perform on-going maintenance and application support for multi-tier web-based systems as well as liaison with staff in other department.
• To participate in IT product and service procurement such as preparing technical specifications and conducting evaluation of proposals.
• To provide IT support to users such as replacement of outdated hardware and software, office relocation of server and computer equipment, monitor periodic security risk assessment and audit, submission of various IT surveys and returns, etc.
• To lead a team and provide supervision.
• To carry out other duties as assigned.
  
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity;
• Must have solid experience in Disaster Recovery Planning and Implementation;
• Must have solid experience in J2EE Development;
• Must have solid experience in Oracle RDBMS;
• Must have solid experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit;
• Must have solid experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support;
• Must have solid knowledge in Procurement/Disposal Procedures;
• Must have solid experience in Management and Support of Systems & Services;
• Must have solid experience in Site Preparation Experience;
• Must have solid experience in Vendor Management;
• Experience in SSADM is highly desirable;
• Experience in GCIS such as IaaS, DBaaS is highly desirable.
