• Responsible for the project on website revamp. 
• Provide on-going maintenance support to network and Internet-facing network of the department; maintain, enhance and upgrade the existing network infrastructure; provide maintenance support to the department websites and chatbot function.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To be in-charge of on-going system maintenance support to all networking hardware and software (including routers, switches, firewalls, internal and external load balancers, Wifi Controller and Access Point, DNS appliance, VPN gateway, network monitoring systems and etc);
• To assist applications teams and various support teams in ongoing or project-based network related issue in the areas of feasible study, analysis and design, sizing, procurement, implementation and testing;
• To co-ordinate and collaborate with contractors, users, application teams and various support teams for proper scheduling and implementation of network related task;
• To provide round the clock first-line and/or second-line technical support for network infrastructure whenever there is problem in network related incident;
• To co-ordinate and collaborate with contractors and users for maintenance of department's thematic websites and Metaverse;
• To co-ordinate and collaborate with contractors for support and maintain the departmental website and chatbot function;
• To prepare the requirement specifications for networking hardware and software, network implementation services, and revamp of department website;
• To supervise staff under his/her charge for the above tasks; and
• To carry out any other duties as assigned.
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in similar capacity;
• Solid knowledge and good technical skill for equipment of Cisco, Huawei, H3C, Fortigate, Check Point, HP Intelligent Management Center, F5, A10 and etc;
• At least 4 years of hand-on experience in Cisco/ Hauwei/ H3C router and switches configuration and technical support;
• Good communication and skills, both written and verbal, in Chinese or English, preference given to those good at both;
• Overtime and on-call work is required when necessary.
