• To assist in migration of system.
• To provide the application support, troubleshooting and supervise a team in managing outsourced system development.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to provide application support, enhancements and testing and prepare requirement. 

• Coordinate with the outsourcing contractors, data centre, and users to ensure the quality of department system.
• Migration of system.  Monitor the project progress and the performance of the outsourcing contractors.
• Collect user requirements, plan the development schedule for application enhancements and ensure the milestones and deadlines are met.
• Perform planning and implementation of hardware and software upgrade.
• Provide application support/troubleshoot and perform administration of Oracle and MariaDB database.
• Monitor system status such as system health check, batch job running status and backup operations.
• Assess the technical impact on any infrastructure change, provide advice on enhancing system security status and administrate security management of the systems.
• Analyse and advise the solution for data exchange between system, backend applications and external.
  
   

• Degree holder in Information Technology or related discipline;
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in similar capacity;
• To be good at user communication;
• To possess skills and experience in RDBMS e.g. Oracle, MariaDB;
• To be familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for application development;
• To possess experience in programming (e.g. Apache, HTML, XML, Java, Javascript programming, iText and JSP) would be an advantage;
• To be good at infrastructure and networking design would be an advantage
• To possess experience in supporting systems hosting would be an advantage.
