To provide day-to-day IT management and technical advisory support services for upholding the smooth operations of the existing IT systems as well as strengthening the IT security measures for protection of the departmental systems and network infrastructures.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to take a management role of facilitating the system implementation and maintenance tasks:

• To manage the implementation of IT projects including IT Security Risk Assessment and Audit, upgrade of office automation workstations and revamp of Integrated Performance Management System (IPMS);
• To provide technical advisory support for the existing IT systems, including acquisition of Network service and Video Conferencing Infrastructure System;
• To act as IT advisor in the Maintenance Boards of the production systems, provide technical impact assessment and support business users to perform business analysis in response to change requests;
• To manage the technical design, system configuration, implementation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure in respect of network, servers, storage and desktop workstations;
• To ensure the availability, performance and security of the IT infrastructure meeting the government standards and service levels; and
• To manage the upgrade of hardware and software in use as appropriate for the production systems in pace with the technology updates and trends in respect of security, versioning and compatibility.
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 10 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 4 years of experience in similar capacity;
• Experience in supporting the management of outsourced IT implementation projects and system maintenance;
• Familiar with IT Baseline Security, system Development Life Cycle and Stores and Procurement Procedures.
• Good communication and skills, both written and verbal, in Chinese or English;
• Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast-learning and good team player;
