System Development, Implementation and Maintenance

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings: 

• To assist systems analysts to conduct various IT project activities;
• To develop and enhance new Continuing Professions Development (CPD) subsystem, which is running on the GCIS IaaS Environment, using modern technologies such as React, Express.js, Java and MariaDB; as well as the iAM Smart features including authentication, personalized notification and the To-do List in Personal Assistant;
• To liaise and work with iAM Smart team, CDEG team and CMC team for system integration of the required iAM Smart features;
• To utilise modern integrated development environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio Code, and AI-assisted coding tools  (for example, GitHub Copilot), to accelerate development, improve code quality, and streamline maintenance tasks;
• To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers; 
• To work overtime as required to meet project schedules and deadlines; and
• Normal working hours:  Mon, 9:00 - 18:00; Tue - Fri, 9:00 - 17:45

• Degree holder in Computer Science, equivalent or above;
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 1 years of experience in similar capacit
• Proficient in application development and implementation using programming languages and development envirnoments such as HTML5, ReactJS, Express.js, Node.js, Spring Boot, Java Servlet, Apache, WildFly, MySQL, MariaDB and Operations Systems such as Windows and Linux;
• Proficient in application development using iAM Smart features the related APIs
