The post is to provide project support and ongoing support to the network infrastructure of a large scale data network 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Provide support to network replacement, implementation and enhancement projects;
• Support day-to-day 24x7 operation of the Police Data Network and Internet Gateway System;
• Monitor various network and security systems, including collection and analysis of network traffic, logs and alert messages from systems;
• Provide support service to IT system project teams and users;
• Implement changes to the network systems in order to provide high availability network service;
• Perform other related support and administration duties as required.
  
   

• Degree Holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 2 years' working experience in the field of IT, and 1 years' experience in similar position;
• Experiences in managing and implementing network infrastructure projects.
• Familiar with project management and production infrastructure support practices.
• Work at irregular hours and on weekends/public holidays are required.
• Outdoor working at Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories including Outlying Islands is required.
• Experiences and knowledge on remote access systems and VPN, multi-layered and complex LAN, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi system, Internet connection systems, network access control, MySQL, PHP, Ansible and Python or other programmer languages are advantageous.
• Qualification of HCNA/CCNA/CCNP certificate or other Cisco/H3C/Huawei certificates are advantageous.
• Experience in various networking products such as Cisco, Huawei, H3C are advantageous.
• Security vetting is required.
