System enhancement and support for the Digital Repository, pilot Transfer Platform and Security Protection Server.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Provide system enhancement, technical advice, support and maintenance for the Digital Repository (DR).
• Provide support in conducting Departmental Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SRAA) exercise by external contractor for the DR such as update documentation for their review, assist them to perform security vulnerabilities scanning and follow up to fix the security risks identified, and vetting the SRAA reports, etc.
• Provide technical assistance in preparing of the funding paper for the online transfer of electronic records from the Central Electronic Recordkeeping System (CERKS) of B/Ds.
• Provide system enhancement, support and migration of virtualization infrastructure for the pilot Transfer Platform and Security Protection Server, the Appraisal and Accessioning server, and the Pre-ingestion server.
• Provide technical support and advice on IT issues such as IT security control, procurement, upgrading of IT hardware, software and equipment.
  Perform duties related to electronic records management

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 5 years of experience in similar capacity
• Rich experience in project implementation and maintenance support. 
• Knowledge on cloud solution, Apache Tomcat, Virtual Machine (VM),
• Microsoft SQL Server, PHP programming, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.
• Experience in ERKS implementation is an added advantage.
