The candidate will provide on-going support on matters in relation to the Information Security management and Security Incident Detection and Handling.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Execute IT security management, governance and monitoring with existing tools such as Anti-virus, Endpoint Detection and Response, Vulnerability scanning and Central Log Server;
• Perform Security Incident Detection and Handling when necessary, including coordinating security incident investigation and rectification;
• Coordinate the implementation of IT security initiatives and monitor the status of IT security processes to ensure the effectiveness of IT security management and compliance with government security requirements;
• Provide regular updates to the Departmental IT Security Officer;
• Conduct periodic internal security assessments on IT systems and annual vulnerability scans for information systems within MD;
• Coordinate routine security tasks including log reviews, account audits, and system patching across various project teams;
• Develop and review various security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures, as well as overall IT security strategy and roadmap;
• Determine the methodologies and tools for various security services;
• Coordinate the biannual Security Risk Assessment and Audit and annual compliance audit exercises;
• Organize security awareness and training programs;
• Facilitate IT security threat and risk management efforts and support disaster recovery and business continuity planning related to IT security;
• Perform any other duties as directed by the supervisors.
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 1 years of experience in similar capacity
• Have knowledge regarding Security Policies and IT standards and guidelines of the Government;
• Hold a local degree in IT/Computer subjects or equivalent
• Hold at least one of the industry-recognised IT security certifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CISP, etc.) and the certifications shall be valid as at the closing day of invitation
• Solid experience in IT Security Management
• Solid experience in Security Incident Detection and Handling
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
