Provide support in development and revamp of satellite products and webpages, as well as the configuration of new servers and workstations

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings: 

• Decoding and processing satellite data to generate various application products and images;
• Updating HKO Satellite Imagery Service on the Internet;
• Enhancing the satellite GIS and Intranet webpages for displaying new and revamped products; and
• Assisting configuration of new satellite data processing servers and workstations.
  
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science, equivalent or above;
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux Shell script programming, Geographic Information System, C++, web programming and object-oriented analysis and design. Experience in Python, JAVA, PHP, TensorFlow and PyTorch will be an advantage.
• A criminal record check will be required and the offer is subject to the results of the criminal record check.
