 Project implementation for new system

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To work with Contractor to conduct System Analysis and Design (SA&D), system implementation, performance tuning and documentation work for a new private cloud system;
• To work with Contractor to provide support for revamp existing Unix-based system to the new system;
• To troubleshoot, rectify and resolve system problems when incidents occur;
• To render technical support to end-users and other technical staff;
• To review and apply security patches to the systems;
• To perform server support duties and capacity planning; and
• To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity
• The candidate shall have experience in installation or supporting configuration on Chinese branded private cloud infrastructure (including computing virtualisation software, Virtualisation Infrastructure Manager (VIM) and Orchestration software, Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) software, DR Automation and Orchestration software, Centralised Backup and Restore solution, Software Defined Storage, Hardware Security Module (HSM) with Key Management Service (KMS)) and linux-based OS.  
• The candidate shall have experience in installation or supporting on Chinese branded network switch, Global Site Load Balancers (GSLB), router, firewall, Intrusion Detection and Prevention system (IDPS) as well as Software Defined Network Controllers.
• The candidate shall have working experience in Linux system administration, including patch upgrade, health check and other relevant service components.
