 Support for computer equipment setup, helpdesk support during census operation and computer equipment decommissioning for the 2026 Population Census 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To assist in setting up, testing and maintenance support for computers, printers, mobile devices and network equipment; assist in equipment (including hardware and/or software) installation, relocation and decommissioning; 
• To provide first line helpdesk service to end users and perform helpdesk activities and carry out on-site problem diagnosis according to procedures/guidelines;
• To conduct daily health check routines on computer systems, and coordinate with contractors and in-house staff to support computer systems;
• To report progress regularly on tasks assigned;
• To work on shifts (Shift A: approximately from 8am to 5pm, and Shift B: approximately from 1pm to 10pm)
   

• Degree Holder in Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 5 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Solid working experience in IT support, setting up and supporting the use of computer systems and software in the following areas:
  -    Mobile tablets with Android OS; and
  -    Mobile Device Management (MDM) software on mobile tablets with Android OS;
  -    Microsoft Windows; and
  -    Microsoft Office.
• Solid working experience in the following areas:
  -    Information Technology (IT) helpdesk service / end user support (desktop computer, mobile device, printer, LAN/server/email, etc.); and
  -    Setting up and testing of IT equipment, including but not limited to enablement of mobile devices, and data erasure of mobile devices for system decommission; and
  -    Configuring, managing and monitoring the mobile tablets with MDM software;
  -    Installation and debugging of smart card reader.
   

Priority will be given to candidates who possess the following requirement(s):
Good knowledge in network products (NET) including switches, routers, security appliances and network
management tools
