To provide IT-related technical support, day-to-day system operation, network maintenance and system administration for Section, as well as data processing tasks required by section head.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To provide IT and technical support in running team-level and section-level professional development activities, installing and maintaining computer hardware and software in the offices including officers' computer facilities and networks;
• To provide IT support for the production of audio-visual (AV) learning and teaching resources (video filming, photographing, audio/video and image editing);
• To procure IT & AV equipment, computer hardware and software;
• To develop and support a database management system for the section, including data processing for Knowledge Management of the Section;
• To undertake any other duties as assigned.

• Degree Holder in Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 5 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Capable of the use of the Hong Kong Supplementary Character Set, Big5 and Unicode in web page display;
• Chinese Input Method, not less than 10 Chinese Characters per minute;
• HTML and Imaging Processing for webpages design of the Section;
• Use of video conferencing applications;
• PC LAN Support;
• Data input and manipulation for Knowledge Management of the Section; and
• Artificial intelligence tools for data management.

Priority will be given to candidates who possess the following requirement(s):
Good knowledge in network products (NET) including switches, routers, security appliances and network
management tools
