Implementation of various systems, enhancements and initiatives under the Hong Kong Public Libraries.
Provision of ongoing  support for digital library systems and network provision services  under the Hong Kong Public Libraries
 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Coordinating with internal users, contractors and external organization for projects;
• monitoring the project progress and providing regular update to management;
• managing the performance and deliverables of outsourcing contractors;
• conducting feasibility studies on new IT initiatives;
• defining user requirements, conducting system analysis and design, data conversion, acceptance tests and production release  for application systems;
• arranging project related services / equipment acquisition;
• providing technical advice to user sections and management; and
• carrying out other duties assigned by senior officers.
  
  
  
  
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in similar capacity
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese;
• Sound knowledge on project management with a minimum of 2 years working experience in coordinating/managing projects with multiple user parties;
• A minimum of 3 years working experience in system development with the exposure of full system development life cycle (SDLC); 
• Solid experience with a minimum of 2 years in contract and vendor management  
• Solid experience in web-based application development and data conversion;
• Knowledge / experience in the following is a plus.
• content management system
  library IT systems
• digitization of multimedia content 
• multimedia content delivery
• site preparation
• Good presentation and communication skills.
