• System Development                          
  Implementation and Maintenance Support

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings: 

• Check, verify and recommend for improvements on the user interfaces and the program designs on GIS application system and various environments such as JAVA, SQL, Oracle, web services etc., submitted by the Contractor for the development of the IT systems;
• Diagnose and resolve problems encountered during the System implementation, support and maintenance;
• Participate in all phases of the Cloud migration and help define acceptance test objectives; assist in system and integration testing for IT system;
• Carry out system, programme and user acceptance tests for the IT Systems and report the findings for the Contractor to follow up;
• Maintain the user interfaces, programmes and databases of these IT systems, carry out the daily checking and regular reporting about the status of the systems;
• Maintain documentation of the IT Systems;
• Assist IT-related procurement, including preparation of tender documents and provision of technical support to the IT systems in; and                        
• Other Job-related Requirements: The hours and venues of work may be varied having regard to the operational needs of the department, including work outdoors or on board.
  
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science, equivalent or above;
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity
• Proficient in application development, implementation and maintenance
• Experience in ArcGIS and/or other GIS application system
• With good knowledge in programming languages and environments
