Responsible for the on-going support of the Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS), which provides a reliable application hosting infrastructure for shared use among departments. The successful candidate is required to provide IT operation management and technical support for GCIS infrastructure to ensure its high availability and stability.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To ensure high availability and stability of GCIS infrastructures;
• To provide IT operation management and technical support for GCIS infrastructures;
• To supervise the ongoing upgrade and maintenance of GCIS infrastructure;
• To supervise problem diagnosis and performance tuning on GCIS infrastructures;
• To monitor work performance and project deliverables;
• To carry out other project related duties as designated by Senior Systems Manager.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 8 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in similar capacity;
• Shall have experience in supporting large-scale IT infrastructure (over 1,000 virtual servers) with dual-active production sites for hosting e-services;
• Shall have experience in supporting 3-tier hosting infrastructure (web, application, database tiers) on top of virtualized servers running RedHat Enterprise Linux versions 7 and 8;
• Shall have experience in server virtualisation software including VMware vSphere 8 or above;
• Shall have experience in identity security solution implementation including Privileged Access Management (PAM) products;
• Shall have strong sense of analytical and problem solving skills;
• Shall have experience in conducting quality assurance on project deliverables from outsourced contractors;
• May be required to work in data centres in Sai Kung, Tsuen Wan and Cheung Sha Wan occasionally
