On-going eTAX Technical and Maintenance Support.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To provide technical and maintenance support to ensure high level of stability, availability, reliability, performance and security of the public online services and internal functions.
• To provide support on security measures and reviews, system interfaces with other internal systems and enhancement on the system infrastructure.
• To carry out quality control on deliverables provided by the outsourced contractors.
• To monitor the outsourced contractors and liaise with external and internal parties for support on system infrastructure and interfaces.
• To conduct testing including function tests, load tests, resilience tests, backup and recovery tests, disaster recovery drills, etc.
• To provide production deployment, system rollout and production support.
• Any other tasks assignment by supervisors.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in similar capacity.
• At least 6 years of experience in technical support of system infrastructure with server clustering on Linux and Windows platforms.
• At least 6 years of experience in technical support of batch processing and jobs monitoring.
• Hands-on experience in containers as a service platform.
• Hands-on experience in supporting Internet-facing applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with outsourced service maintenance contractors and other internal parties for maintenance support.
• Hands-on development experience of taxation related systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and lead sub-ordinates to complete the assigned tasks.
• Candidate should note that he / she will be required to work and perform on-site system support tasks in production site during non-office hours including after mid-night and public holidays occasionally.
• Candidate should note that he / she will be required to assist supervisors and work with other project teams, vendors and/or end-users to complete the required tasks.
• Candidate should note that he / she will be required to carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors.
