Application maintenance and support.

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings: 

• To support application maintenance activities including procurement, user requirement study, system installation, programming, data conversion, user acceptance and training;
• To liaise with related parties for related project activities including user, contractors and other support teams;
• To assist in system design of applications, preparing project specification and documentations;
• To conduct system and user acceptance testing and recommend acceptance;
• To provide IT support and advice related to application systems;
• To provide helpdesk service to computer end users and carry out on-site support and provide recovery action according to prescribed procedures;
• To assist in workstation or networked equipment setup, scheduling and monitoring computer equipment installation/relocation and perform site preparation work;
• To maintain inventory records of end-user computer hardware, perform physical checks and maintain procedure manuals and documentation; and
• To carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in similar capacity.
• At least 6 years of past working experience in the department. 
• Solid experience in web-based application. 
• Solid experience in PC/LAN helpdesk support for Windows PC and Lotus Notes mail system.
