Position Overview:

A global hedge fund manager with multi-strategy and sizable AUM is hiring the captioned position due to expansion.

Report to an experienced Portfolio Manager in the industry

Responsibilities:

Analyze and evaluate investment opportunities for the portfolio manager

Perform catalyst hedge investing, generate idea flow and how to structure long and short trades with large stocks in Asia

Stay up-to-date with policy changes, monitor industry trends, regulatory changes and market dynamics

Conduct research into investment opportunities, monitor risk and make recommendations to the portfolio manager

Assist Portfolio Manager in generating, evaluating investment needs, prepare detailed investment reports, including risk assessments, valuation analysis

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.

5-10 years’ work experience in investment banking, equity research or hedge fund

Strong interest in capturing news and able to collect information / data under time pressure

Ability to thrive in a high intensity environment

Strong analytical skills, with a structured approach to problem solving

Self-motivated with strong sense of ownership

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, capable of effectively interacting with stakeholders at all

Salary:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
