Database Administrator and System Support

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To identify and implement database requirements for new or existing applications;
• To optimise database performance and efficiency through evaluation, capacity planning, performance tuning and other related activities; 
• To support users and developers by diagnosing and resolving database technical issues; and
• To support the Infrastructure environment including AIX, Linux and Microsoft, ensuring system availability, reliability and security.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 7 years of experience in similar capacity
• At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in supporting AIX environment;
• At least 7 years of experience in Oracle RDBMS, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase;
• At least 5 years of experience in DB2;
• At least 7 years of experience working with/in the government;
• At least 7 years of experience in supporting government systems & services and managing government IT standards; and
• At least 7 years of experience in coordination work with internal and external parties.
